WILDWOOD—An agenda for a special meeting of the Wildwood Board of Commissioners Wednesday states that the governing body will meet behind closed doors to discuss beach event fees, but officials do not intend to hold a vote to possibly rescind them until their regular meeting April 23.

Mayor Ernie Troiano said that a response from the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority about the issue is expected today, Tuesday, April 15. He said that a solution to the issue is also forthcoming.

Officials planned to discuss beach events as a matter of potential litigation during an executive session at Tuesday’s meeting.

Tuesday’s special meeting is set for 3:30 p.m. April 16 at City Hall, 4400 New Jersey Ave.
