WILDWOOD – Wildwood police are seeking the public’s help in identifying five individuals they suspect assaulted and robbed a 19-year-old man on the boardwalk Saturday, April 12.

Police say that a group of teens including a white woman, a black man, and three white men, one of which was wearing a blue Wawa hooded sweatshirt, approached the victim on Schellenger Avenue. The victim was alone, and police say at least one of the suspects began to punch the victim in the head and face, knocking him to the ground.

During the assault, police say $60 in cash and a driver’s license were allegedly taken from the victim. He suffered a broken nose, concussion and a severe contusion to his left eye as a result of the assault.
