The Egg Harbor Township girls indoor track and field team had two state-leading times, and the EHT boys team earned seven top-six finishes at the Ocean Breeze Holiday Festival on Saturday, Dec. 30 at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York.

The Eagles girls 4x200-meter relay team of Emily Cheeseman, Lauren Princz, Jadyn Laramore and Ajae Alvarez finished second in a school-record 1 minute, 44.10 seconds. The time was the 10th fastest in the nation this season and the fastest by a New Jersey relay team.

Princz, a freshman, was third in the 55 dash in a school-record 7.18, the 12th fastest time in the nation this season and the best by a New Jersey runner.

The EHT 4x800-meter relay team of Justin Winkler, Donald Vineyard, Binh Dang and Ryan Simpson placed second in 8:23.54. The Eagles 4x200 team of Noah Davis, JJ Johnson, Luis Rivera-Turell and Shaquille Boyd finished fourth in 1:32.97. The 4x55 shuttle hurdle relay team of Anthony Vazquez, Vernon Swain, Marcus Wood and Justin Chung was fifth in 34.96 seconds. Teammate Mubeen Momodu finished fifth in the high jump with a height of 5-10.

Sixth-place finishes were by the EHT sophomore 4x200 relay team of Steven Huynh, Imran Bilgrami, Daniel Elkomos and Zahir McAllister (1:43.18), Josh Cohen in the long jump (12 feet), and Alvin Taliaferro in the long jump (20-1).
