Atlantic Christian School of Egg Harbor Township won the championship of the Tri-State Christian Athletic Conference with a 66-11 win over Gloucester County Christian School. Senior point guard Dakota Hitchner, named the Tri-State MVP for the third consecutive year, scored 20 points to go with nine steals and six assists for the Cougars. Tola Oguntuase had 26 rebounds and 14 points. Samantha Rhodes scored 12. Shannon Murphy scored 10, got six steals and six rebounds.
The Lady Cougars finished the season undefeated in the league (12-0) and 26-8 overall. Head coach Pam Hitchner, who announced her retirement after the season, was named the TSCAC Coach of the Year. In her final home game, Hitchner's Cougars defeated Cumberland Christian 71-31 in the semifinals of the TSCAC Tournament. The victory was the 250th of Hitchner’s career.
During the season, Dakota Hitchner, who has earned a scholarship to play at King University in Bristol, Tennessee, scored her 2,000th career point. Teammate Shannon Murphy hit a 3-pointer in a loss to Oakcrest for her 1,000th career point.
