Women’s basketball

Lauren Holden helped lead the Fordham University women’s basketball team to three wins last week.

The 2015 Lower Cape May Regional High School graduate scored 17 points and grabbed five rebounds in a 69-44 win over Hartford on Thursday. She scored 15 points in a 70-62 win over UC Davis on Friday.

Holden scored 12 points in a 61-50 win over George Washington on Sunday, improving the Rams to 10-4 this season.

In 14 games through Sunday, the 2015 Press Girls Basketball Player of the Year is averaging 10.5 points per game.

Grace Sacco (Ocean City) grabbed two rebounds in UNC Wilmington’s 66-53 loss to William & Mary on Sunday.

Dakota Hitchner (Atlantic Christian; Ocean View resident) scored two points, grabbed two rebounds and added three steals and two assists in King University’s 108-64 loss to Carson-Newman on Saturday.

Kennedy Johnson (Wildwood Catholic) scored two points in Michigan State’s 68-46 win over Indiana on Thursday.

Lauren Moretti (Wildwood Catholic) had four points and five rebounds in Delaware Valley’s 58-54 win over Gwynedd Mercy on Friday. She scored six points and grabbed three rebounds in a 68-52 loss to Juniata on Saturday.

Olivia Rulon (Wildwood Catholic) had eight points, two rebounds and two assists in Rowan's 80-66 loss to Cabrini on Sunday.

Men’s basketball

Tanner Kerr (Middle Township) grabbed three rebounds and added a point in the University of the Sciences’ 83-58 win over Wilmington on Saturday.

George Cook (Wildwood Catholic) had five assists and a rebound in Wesley’s 88-78 win over City College of New York on Saturday.
