Wildwood Catholic High School’s Caitlin McMullan was one of the standouts at the All-Star Labor Classic game played at Philadelphia University over the weekend.
The game annually matches many of the top high school players from the City of Philadelphia against many of the top players from the Pennsylvania suburbs and South Jersey.
McMullan led the Suburban team with 14 points in its 53-40 victory over the City team.
The All-Star Labor Classic, which celebrated its 30th anniversary, is sponsored by Philadelphia Organized Labor. The organization raises money for various charities and last weekend presented a check for $150,000 to Blossom Philadelphia, formerly United Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia.
McMullan, who averaged 15 points per game as a senior and finished her high school career with more than 1,000 career points, is set to play college basketball at Division II Goldey-Beacom College.
