The Middle Township pee wee (grades 3-4) football team is presented the trophy after winning last weekend's Cape Atlantic Junior Football League championship game over Galloway.

An eight-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter by Jamir McNeal accounted for all of the game’s scoring as the Middle Township pee wee (grades 3-4) football team captured the championship of the Cape Atlantic Junior Football League on Saturday with a 6-0 victory over Galloway Township. The game was played in Hamilton Township.

The win allowed Middle Township to finish the season unbeaten. The team went 8-0 in the regular season before winning playoff semifinal and championship games. Middle conceded only 12 points the entire season.

McNeal’s winning touchdown was set up by a 25-yard punt return by Remi Rodriguez, followed by a 10-yard run by Donovan Linthicum. McNeal’s score came with only 1 minute, 50 seconds to play.

In addition to McNeal, Rodriguez and Linthicum, the team also included: Braydon Tammaro, Nacque Terrell, Iria Smith Jr., Kahielm Atkinson, Haji Carey, Ja’zier Matthews, Adam Radzieta, Lucas Seitz, Charles Padilla, Ayden Carty, Maurice Matthews, Rocco Balestriere, Duran Buck, Kurt Johnson Jr., Shawn Watkins, Amir Elston, Aydan Howell and Micah McAnaney.

Coaches included Jim Linz, Tyrone Howell, Matt McAnaney, Kurt Johnson, Leon Linthicum and equipment manager Desire Knoicek.
