The Middle Township Middle School honored its athletes of the week ending Jan. 12 on Friday.
The school honored Keira Phillips and Loghan Wells as the cheerleaders of the week.
Phillips was said to have been a huge asset to the cheer squad. She’s a strong leader and an amazing tumbler and glyer. Wells started the season quite but found her voice and became a huge part of the squad.
David Farrow was named the boys basketball player of the week, and Iyonna Bennett was named the top girls player.
Farrow continued to work hard every day in practice and impress opposing coaches. Bennett, in her first year, became a top contributor and leader on the team.
Lastly, Marcus Hebron was honored as the wrestler of the week for is effort on a daily basis in practice and in matches.
