TUCKAHOE –Santa Claus will make his arrival at the Tuckahoe Volunteer Fire Company’s all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4 at the firehouse on Rt. 50 in Tuckahoe.

Santa will be available for photos throughout the entire breakfast and kids can give Santa their Christmas list. This breakfast is also the Toys for Tots breakfast. You can drop off your unwrapped and unused toys at the breakfast.

The cost of the breakfast is $9 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. The menu includes eggs, pancakes, sausage, ham, home fries, biscuits and gravy, toast, and coffee.

Breakfasts have been held at the fire company since the mid-1960s. Proceeds generated from the breakfasts benefit the volunteer fire company. Although grant money and funds from Fire District 2 budget help the company purchase large items, such as trucks, equipment and fire gear, it is the money from the breakfasts that allows the group to acquire things that are needed on a day-to-day basis, according to a press release.

Santa will also be joining the Tuckahoe firefighters on the evening of Dec. 18. The fire company will escort Santa and his helpers throughout the Tuckahoe fire district. Parents are asked to stand with their children on the curb as Santa makes his way through the streets. Santa and the firefighters will also be collecting canned goods for the Cape May County food bank.
