in Sea Isle City, Small Business Saturday came with an ice skating rink, entertainment and refreshments at the Holiday Extravaganza in Excursion Park.
For Lisa Cattie, Patty Barrella and Sue Papandrea, family members from the Philadelphia area with a second home in Sea Isle, “shopping small” in the shore town is an annual tradition.
“We go up and down, grab something warm to drink and shop,” Cattie said after the three stopped in Groovy Girlz on Landis Avenue.
The Thanksgiving weekend celebration has drawn year-round residents, visitors and second-homeowners to the city for six years, said Chris Glancey, president of the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization.
“This highlights everything Sea Isle is about,” he said.
