Wildwood Crest 9/11 Memorial Service

WILDWOOD CREST - The borough held its annual Patriot's Day memorial service Monday, Sept. 11 at Turtle Gut Park to honor those who died in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The park includes memorials dedicated to Andrew Alameno, a Wildwood Crest native who was killed during the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City. As part of the ceremony Crest Memorial Elementary School students Faith Osinski-Schwinn, Jenna Ziemba, Kiana Walden and Ryder Fuscellaro read essays they wrote describing what Sept. 11 means to them. The students are pictured with Wildwood Crest commissioners Joyce Gould, Carl Groon and Don Cabrera.
