Terror in the Junkyard
The Scullville Volunteer Fire Company’s annual Terror in the Junkyard Hayride and Maze is open 7 -11 p.m. every Friday and Saturday and 7-10 p.m. every Sunday in October at Flemings Junkyard, 353 Zion Road in Egg Harbor Township. Meet the candidates night
The Egg Harbor Township Home and School Association is hosting at meet the candidates night for the Egg Harbor Township Board of Education election 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20 in the boardroom of Alder Avenue Middle School. EHT BMX Trunk or Treat
The Egg Harbor Township BMX Mom Squad is hosting a trunk or treat 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 at the BMX track in Veterans Memorial Park in Egg Harbor Township. Charity hockey game for injured officer
The Atlantic City Guns and Hoses hockey team will face off against the Camden County Police Department Blue Nights 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 at Flyers Skate Zone, 501 Albany Ave., Atlantic City, in a charity hockey game to benefit Atlantic City Police Officer Josh Vadell, who was shot in the line of duty Labor Day weekend. Admission is $10. There will be auctions, a 50-50 and raffles of autographed Philadelphia Flyers memorabilia and more. There will be an after party with live music at The Wonderbar after the game. The Egg Harbor Township Special Education Resource Group meets 7 p.m. one Monday a month at Alder Avenue Middle School. The meetings provide a stress-free way for special needs parents, staff, administrators and guest speakers to address topics regarding special education services and strategies. Ranch home luncheon
Ranch Hope Auxiliary 13 Atlantic County will hold a covered dish luncheon at noon Tuesday, Oct. 25 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 290 Asbury Road. Ranch Hope provides outpatient counseling, residential treatment, special education, independent living, adventure-based activities and day camps for at-risk children. All are welcome. The recreation department’s is accepting registration for the fall youth basketball league. The league will play Nov.16-March 24. The fee is $95 and this includes a jersey.
